Do Work!

Well....Finally, the snow has come to a stop...for now.  Kelli and I got to spend the day with our students (we did have a two hour delay). Fingers crossed we will not get what is expected this weekend! 
On our day off yesterday we spent some quality time working on our new favorite project....Two Teacher Friends. Between the laughs, the photo opps, and the trying to stay warm in my old house, we did get some work done. It makes working fun when Pandora is cranked up and we enjoy what we are working on. 
This week TPT is having a S-A-L-E! (omg, omg, a sale, what will you buy?) Not only will our free items be...free'er...but our priced items will be discounted by 20%. I have already stocked up my cart with goodies from my favorite stores on the site. I suggest you do the same.

How it all began...

And this is how it all began...snow days.  Seven of them...in a row.  Two teacher friends with some creativity, some great ideas, and a lot of unexpected free time.  Our names are Lizz and Kelli.  We both teach in Southern Indiana among the beautiful corn fields (now covered in snow).  We teach fourth grade, side by side.  I teach in a classroom filled with beautiful English Language learners.  I have twenty-five this year. Teachers Pay Teachers has always been a go to resource for me.  This year, however, I had a difficult time finding exactly what I needed.  With Indiana Standards changing, I-step changing, and a class with some very specific needs, Lizz and I started doing more brainstorming than usual and began creating some of our own resources.  We realized that we had a pretty good thing going.  A late season snow storm and several days of being snowbound found us finally doing what we had always talked about.  We created this blog, some fun resources, and our own TPT site.  As snow days continue, we continue to work so check back often.  Lizz and I not only share a love of working out, laughing, shoes, dogs, antiques, crafting, teaching, eating, and true all out goofiness, now we share a love for sharing our ideas with others.  Stay tuned and be sure to tell your other teacher friends.  Stay warm wherever you are on this cold day.  Lots of love, Your Two Teacher Friends      {Kelli}
